Cranktoppa

Here are the lyrics for a new cb song I have been working on and above is some more artwork.
Tentative song title: Don't Burst my Bubble
Small town hues are no frontal lobotomy,
their pleasant glow is the sweetest of lights
A quiet trance accomplished through retrospect
in silence of porches I begin to digress,
wood paneling walls and comfort in consonance
fires in my backyard for the rest of my life
turquoise fence to protect our resonance
beers and bourbon brought smiles to our faces,
a small towns hue and the friend sitting next to me,
I'll remember these auras for the rest of my life
Love

New ART and New News
Hello Friends, there is new news in the Circlebirds world. BUT first I want to thank everyone who came out to the Last College Station Show with Marc Fogelsong. It was more than any of us could have asked for and to be honest a dream come true. As a signifier of all our band members leaving college station it really felt right. Now for News. For one I (Matthew Jackson) got a job so there will be financial backing for the band once again and I will be able to afford the ROCKSTAR lifestyle . With this great news comes other good news I have approximately 10 new songs in the making for a new album. Since Marc is now a Pita Pit corporate man I find myself returning to a similar style to my first album focusing more on a lo-fi acoustic songwriter feel with experimental elements. I will be posting some demos as soon as I get my recording equipment up and running. Thats all for now. CircleBirds is not dead it is just starting a new chapter that revolves less around College Station and more around the glory of Texas in general.

We are still alive
Hello friends and family and rock stars,
I know there hasn't been alot of activity lately on the Circlebirds front, but all the hidden parts and cogs that make up circlebirds are still moving.
I (Matt) recently moved to Houston, which has left me busy with acclimating to this new environment while also being burdened with finding a job here. Let's Just say my attention has been divided.
Although the whole band has been busy there is a string of shows around Texas in the works. On top of this we will be launching a art/poster collection that will be on sale at new shows. There will be approximately 20 different designs to collect. Here is an example of what the art will look like:

There is alot of new material being played around with at the moment as well.
Lots to look forward to. Stay tuned for more updates soon.
Love
Matt
